I got extremely overwhelmed in November when I started working full-time again. I was blogging daily M-F and I couldn’t keep up with that schedule. Sprinkle in some wedding planning and DIY crafting for that and I had no time for anything.
Then when I was ready to pick it back up, my site got hacked and in the process of fixing everything, I lost so many posts. Y’all, it was awful. Thinking about all of the lost work and time made my heart just ache.
This aching feeling and frustration made me unsure about getting back to blogging. Thoughts of “What if this happens again?” and “I have to almost restart from like square 2” took over. I contemplated just beginning a whole new blog, with a new name, a new everything because fresh starts are better than disappearing progress apparently (in my mind).
Then there was the wedding. I did it ALL myself, with a budget of $10,000. So because of this, I was spending every minute working, doing something for the wedding, and learning photography. No time for ample sleep much less recovering my blog and blogging.
But, the wedding was last Sunday. My schedule looks a lot better and I’ve been dying to write and get my thoughts out.
So here I am! Let’s do this!
I’m going to leave y’all with a little instagram round-up because I might have been inactive on the blog but I have been posting there regularly!
I hope you forgive me for my absence! I can’t even express how disheartened I was when I found out that someone hacked my site and in the process all the data I lost.
Anyway, I’m so glad to be back!
Also, advice needed. What do you use to back up your blog? I obviously need some help in this respect. Thank you!
